Undisputed Craft House

Hi Friends! We are back after a couple week hiatus. Ok, actually it was only one week because we had friends in town and went to eat with them so there was no budget for the week for our date/exploration night. And the week before, we did go out to eat but I felt there was nothing special about the place or food so I didn’t post about it- sorry! If you’re interested in hearing about our trip to La Chancla, let me know in the comments.

This week was my turn to pick and I’ve been wanting to take the dogs so I specifically searched out a dog-friendly place.

Undisputed is located on the East side of El Paso, about a mile from our home. We actually walked over, not my brightest idea for the 100 degree summer, but it wasn’t horrible and the walk home was actually really nice and we were able to enjoy the sunset.

Atmosphere

Undisputed is a Craft Brew House with 37 craft beers on tap, some local, some from further away. They also have a bunch of cans available. The bar as a nice patio bar which is where I was expecting to eat, but the staff was super nice and allowed us to bring Bamf, our husky, inside.

The bar hosts a lot of events from Foosball tournaments to karaoke to valentines Day events. I actually saw a flier for their Valentines event way back in February and have been wanting to go ever since.

Menu

Undisputed has a pretty diverse menu consisting of typical pub food. Pizza, sandwiches, burgers and wings. They also has a dessert that sounded amazing- Beer Donut (a donut with ice cream and bacon bits and whipped cream!). I was too full on beer and food to try it so we will have to go back.

Most of the menu options have a a soutwest twist to them- chorrizo, green chile, chile con queso, etc., which I love.

What We Ate

We started off with an appetizer of nachos. Manny was starving since he didn’t eat all day otherwise I would have passed on apps and saved room for dessert. The nachos were loaded with jalapenos, which we usually pass on since they upset my stomach, but we forget to say no. Plus the chips were really salty. I think without the jalapenos, we would have enjoyed them more.

On Wednesdays, Undisputed has specials on Burgers so we each chose a different burger. I got the Green Chile Burger and it was sooooo good! I love the taste of green chile but sometimes I get ones that are too hot for me, and then I get the hiccups-lol! The green chile on my burger was perfect!

Manny got the The And Still burger- a burger with mozzarella and american cheese, and chorrizo. He loves trying chorrizo on foods and said this was very good, although a little salty, like the nachos.

Besides food, we each had a flight of four beers. I love trying flights because I really enjoy trying new beers, plus I’m not really sure what kinds of beer I actually like. I always choose options that are completely different from one another and randomly sip from each, saving the majority of my favorite for last. Manny likes wheat beers and will usually get a variety of those unless something else really catches his attention.

Price

Because we had the Wednesday night special, our burgers, which also came with fries, were $5 each- a steal! Undisputed has specials each day of the week so I suggest checking out their Facebook or Instagram page to see what day is best for what you’re craving.

Even the beer flights were reasonably priced at $10 for 4 tastes. I could definitely go try quite a few.

Overall Recommendation

We were super happy with our date night this week. I love how close Undisputed is to our house since I like to walk after a big meal. Plus the service was great and it’s always a plus when our dog gets spoiled.

While Manny was a little upset that his food was so salty, I though my burger was great! We are already planning on going back to try the Beer Donut dessert and taste more beers.
