The holiday season is officially here, and with it comes all the parties and delicious food! But after the first few parties, you may be ready for a casual night with no sugary treats or spiked beverages.
Christmas Caroling- If you love all the catchy holiday tunes, it’s time to brush up your singing voice and share the love with everyone! Give back to those in your community who may not get to celebrate with their loved ones by singing carols at a local nursing home! The residents love visitors and will most likely join in with you!
Go Ice Skating- I grew up as a figure skater so for me, I loved taking my friends and family to the rink and teaching them skills. Learn new tricks with your friends or just stroke around and catch up! The ice rink is the perfect place for a cool holiday outing!
Seasonal Craft Project- There are so many fun options that fit into this category- gingerbread houses, wreaths, ornament swaps, decorating cookies or stockings, or making a stunning centerpiece. The list could go on and on! Plus, your home will be all decked out afterwards!
Visit a Light Show- Many towns have neighborhoods or streets that go all out with the lights. Other areas have lighted gardens or caves for you to experience. Just make sure to bundle up!
Sledding- Another outdoor winter favorite. You will be laughing all day long, and exhausted afterwards from climbing back up the hill! If you’re like me and currently live in the desert, try sand sledding!
